By working with and raising children, we grow ourselves. It’s a wonderful feeling when dealing with the simple and difficult everyday challenges, when we feel a bundle of little eyes around us inspiring us to keep moving forward.
The PIPIRAI nurseries grow and expand with every child in mind, given that they’ll consider this place their second home. We want it to be a place where a child can be free, and able to express their creativity and emotions as well as to be listened to and loved. TEACHING BILINGUAL INDIVIDUALS
One of the goals at the PIPIRAI nurseries is to communicate freely with children in both Lithuanian and English. This isn’t just about the special lessons at our English language studio, it’s also about incorporating a second language into a variety of activities and daily tasks, the best way we believe to learn a new a language and to naturally accept it. Therefore, we welcome children who are speakers of other languages too.

GROWING OUTDOOR
We’re convinced that, just like flowers, children grow better outside in the fresh air. Every day we try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Outdoor educational activities are highly important for a child’s development ad so our aim is to create as many activity spots in the nursery gardens as possible. And it’s not the size of the garden that matters, but rather making full use of the surroundings. A simple fence may transform into a smart one, a little path into a sensory track of nature’s produce, window sills into flower and vegetable gardens, whilst the entire garden may turn into an orchard or a forest of trees that we planted ourselves.
Our gardens change every year as the children and their nursery teachers create new outdoor activities together, such as planting, growing and creating outdoor projects or simply decorating their surroundings. |
LEADING A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE
We take great care about what the nursery children eat. We respect the principles of a healthy and nutritious diet, and encourage a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
Children need a lot of sport and exercise, and with us they’ll have plenty of opportunities to know and try a variety of different sports. Parents get involved in the sports events too. Together with their teachers, the little ones also take part in major sport and healthy lifestyle projects. |
BEING SMARTWe include modern technologies into the daily activities at our nurseries, as children are so receptive to them! For the sake of variety in our educational process, we’ve built smart classrooms where children playing on the interactive mobile educational apps gain experiences that are new to them. Interesting games with educational robots teach children the basics of problem solving and coding. Furthermore, their creativity is developed by playing at a light table with the help of fine motor skill tools and light therapy. Educational activities also take with the help of a projector as well as audio and video equipment. We don’t stop here though, as we wish to introduce what helps children explore and know the world and master technology because it’s no longer a luxury, but the world in which our children will live as they grow up.

ROTATING STUDIOS
We hold daily nursery activities in small groups across a variety of activity studios. Children rotate through different activities, including Experimental, English Language, Crafts, Arts and Theatre Studios and a Smart Studio. The rotating studios ensure that the children’s ongoing activities never become boring, allowing them to gain dexterity in their little fingers and to help raise a new generation of creative little artists. Additionally, we offer music education, intensive sport and dance classes.

LOVING OUR COUNTRY
As the years go by, annual festivals and traditions naturally emerge in nursery life. We wish to bring families together and to raise children full of love for their country, its cultures and its customs. Gradually, our own festivals evolve and become traditions that bring small hearts together.

SHARING THE WORLD
Because there must be enough room in it for everyone—adults, children and all forms of life alike! We promote eco-friendliness, a healthy attitude towards the world, a clean environment and safe communication. We’re actively involved in green projects. We sort waste, and we practice giving old items a second life. But most importantly, we learn to own our world.

BEING CREATIVE
Creativity in everything we do. Whatever we choose, from everyday activities to planned programmes, we wish the children to be free and able to perform their assignments in a creative manner. There are no restrictions, instructions or strict rules, because only by doing things this way is it possible to facilitate budding creativity and the often unexpected solutions developed by children.

FEELING AT HOME
When creating the PIPIRAI nurseries, first and foremost we wish to make them cosy homes for the children. We pay great attention to the buildings, the interior, the surroundings and our work tools. Whenever possible, we try to have as big an outdoor space as possible. Aesthetic surroundings and interiors along with the highest quality work tools and aids are, in our view, of great importance during a child’s development. They’re like the invisible, yet educational pre-conditions for a child to feel safe in, to be special and to be worthy of care. It’s important to us that everything is of the highest quality and durable, and that there’s order about the place. At the PIPIRAO nurseries, everyone can feel that they belong.
